My current employer is the largest power producer in Ghana with installed capacity of over 980 MWA in 5 power plants.  I am currently the network administrator for the Authority's network infrastructure countrywide.
I am responsible for routers, switches

Our corporate networking environment include Routers, Switches, fibre optic, RedHat Linux, Solaris, Debian, Ubuntu, Windows Server 2003 and 2008, DSL and ADSL Modems.
Routing Protocol:  OSPF
The LANs interconnect through the fiber backbone (WAN) and a fiber connection to SAT-3 submarine cable for internet access via Vodafone.

To also enhance capacity planning, trending analysis as well as institute better QoS for the various applications.  Efficient monitoring and management for network security will also improve.
